Is Mugetsu the most powerful form? ›

Mugetsu is a form that is used for one highly compressed attack, which then causes Ichigo to lose his powers. This technically means its a last resort, and naturally isn't the strongest form due to that.

Give the mask to him and he will teleport you to Wandenreich. Go to Yahweh (look for quest icons). After the conversation, he will give blood and teleport you to Karakura Town. Drink blood and there is an 80% chance you will become Quincy.

They both give comparable levels of power, though the latter is better as it doesn't take away the users powers, making the former obsolete.

Ichigo did defeat Aizen in the end, but only because Ichigo gained temporary superpowers and had Kisuke Urahara help him seal Aizen away. In most circ*mstances, Sosuke Aizen outclasses Ichigo Kurosaki in most categories.

Ichigo's powers come from his Quincy mother and Soul Reaper father, with his abilities manifesting through his lineage. Ichigo's zanpakuto, Zangetsu, symbolizes his Quincy and Hollow powers, requiring a balance for maximum potential.

Quincy are unable to take in Hollow energy without their souls being destroyed in the process. This leaves them unable to steal any Bankai that has the spiritual energy of a Hollow. Ichigo's Zanpakuto also wasn't real when he fought against Ebern.

However, what's surprising is that the Soul Reapers find themselves completely helpless against an army of Quincies who are believed to be the weaker of the two races.

Ichigo damaged Yhwach with Shikai horn of Salvation and he defeated him with his Unsheathed Bankai. Thus Mugetsu would be totally unnecessary even if Yhwach didn't counter Ichigo.

Yhwach is, without question, the most powerful character in Bleach. It's not even close. Yhwach's ability, The Almighty, doesn't just allow him to see into the future, but allows him to change it, and he can even affect the present by performing actions in the future, such as destroying Ichigo's Bankai.

Ichigo's strongest form is his Merged Hollow form, a blend of Soul Reaper and Hollow powers that combine all worlds into a deathless state. Ichigo's powers reach their highest potential when he comes to terms with his grief over his mother's death and reaches self-acceptance.

Being the form beyond the Bankai, the first and most noticeable difference between Shukai and Bankai is the power increase. Similarly too how Bankai is ten times more powerful than Shikai, Shukai is ten times more powerful than Bankai (one hundred times more powerful than Shikai).
